To apply for a grant from the Smith & Associates Real Estate Foundation, the organization must:

Be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code

Be based in or serving Hillsborough and/or Pinellas counties

Exhibit strong management and sound leadership

File an IRS form 990 from 2021 or later

Smith and Associates’ community giving program is designed to build strong partnerships with non-profit organizations, civic organizations, and other local organizations that are striving to make a difference, focusing on three community giving pillars: Housing, Community Vibrancy, and Positive Education/Mental Well-Being. For each element, funding priority will be given to at-risk, vulnerable, and special needs populations.
